The Maidu Interpretive Center


The Maidu is a Native American tribe that lived in Northern California about 7,000 to 10,000 years ago. In Roseville there is a site of their village. At the interpretive center there's a museum of the Maidu tribe and also a tour given of the village site and other events. They are having a Columbus Day Revisited on Oct. 10 2009. 10:00 a.m.-4:00p.m. There will Indigenous People's Day Presentations and Native American storytelling.
